About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Premium Seating to lead the strategic planning and revenue optimization of premium seating at the XL Center. This role is pivotal in the design and implementation of the premium strategy, including pricing and go-to-market approaches. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the premium seating department, which involves selling a range of premium seating options for various events. Key responsibilities include providing guidance in the development of sales processes, training, and overall sales management, as well as supporting company-wide initiatives in the premium seating space. The VP will also be expected to lead the premium sales team, create a successful sales culture, and ensure the team meets and exceeds sales goals. Applicants for the Vice President of Premium Seating position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 7 years' sales experience with a professional sports team, including management experience. The role requires a proven track record in premium sales and sales management, as well as experience in budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate will be familiar with database management, have excellent organizational and leadership skills, and be a tireless motivator with a passion for sales. The VP will also be expected to have a strong knowledge of PC systems and ticketing software, with experience in Salesforce.com and Spectra Ticketing software being a plus.
