Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will take part in our highly respected program, where you will gain the knowledge you need to be a successful licensed pharmacist. Under the guidance of preceptor, you will actively contribute in the department, and learn to provide customers with incredible service, and a pharmacy experience that they can't get anywhere else. What will I do?

• Utilize and bring your coursework to life, while gaining a comprehensive knowledge of the retail pharmacy industry
• Work with your preceptor, Pharmacy Manager, pharmacists, and technicians to learn to better serve customer needs
• Answer questions, provide counseling on prescriptions, and relay any pertinent information so customers can successfully and confidently use medication at home
• Proactively contact internal and external business partners; comply with all federal, state, and HIPAA regulations; ensure company guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures are followed

Required Qualifications:

• In progress towards earning Pharm D degree in an accredited School of Pharmacy
  
  
• Pharmacist Intern Permit where applicable by state law
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pharmacy experience
• Immunization Certification
• Systems aptitude
• Computer skills
