Position Transport Driver/Helper

Location Pittsburgh, PA

Job Type Full-Time/Part-time

Starting Pay 17.00 per hr

Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients to and from medical appointment, treatment centers and other healthcare facilities.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service to all clients, ensuring they feel comfortable and respected.
• Assist clients with mobility issues, including wheelchair and stretcher when required.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving regulations and company safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all passengers.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, healthcare professionals and clients to ensure efficient scheduling. Keep everyone well informed regarding status and any issues encountered during transport.
• Maintain a clean an well functioning vehicle, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Accurately log trip details and maintain records as required by company policy.

Qualifications

• Valid drive's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in a driving or customer service role is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and assist passengers when necessary
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with the local area and comfortable using GPS and other navigation tools.
