Providence St. Jude Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Board Certified/ Board Eligible Neurosurgeon to join our well-established Neurosurgery practice in Orange County, California.
The ideal candidate should be ready to take on a broad mix of both spine and cranial pathologies intrinsic to this busy practice and dedicated to providing outstanding patient care. The neurosurgery group has two practice locations in Orange County that conveniently serve patients at our local hospital ministries, St Josephs Hospital in Orange, and St Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, which is an Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center. Both hospitals are Magnet designated hospitals and draw neurosurgical cases from surrounding institutions.
Joining 4 current neurosurgeons and supported by a team of 7 PAs, the successful candidates can expect their practice to be busy right away given the abundance of patients being referred by 100+ primary care providers in the medical group and the busy call duties from both hospitals.
- General neurosurgeon with broad clinical experience in both cranial and spine procedures
- Fellowship training in skull base/open cerebrovascular neurosurgery or equivalent advanced training is preferred
- Experience is preferred, though new graduates will be considered
- Robotic assisted spinal surgical procedures available at both hospitals
- Dedicated neuro-navigation abilities available at both hospitals
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neurologists, radiologists, intensivists and other specialists to provide comprehensive care for our Advanced Neurosciences program
- Participate in on-call rotation serving St Jude Medical Center, Fullerton and St Josephs Hospital, Orange.

- Compensation is between $629,104 and $1,106,909 per year
The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and may include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, hospital/ED call stipends, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
