Job Description

General Purpose of Job: 

The Associate, Investment, Marketplaces plays a key supporting role in the planning, execution, and optimization of retail media campaigns across leading eCommerce platforms. Working under the guidance of senior team members, the Associate will help manage campaign trafficking, performance reporting, budget tracking, and coordination with marketplace partners, gaining hands-on experience across Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, and other retail platforms, developing skills in performance media, digital marketing, and client service. The successful Associate is excited to build a career in the fast-growing world of retail media.

Key Responsibilities: 

· Support day-to-day execution of digital marketplace campaigns on platforms like Amazon, Walmart Connect, Instacart, and Target Roundel.

· Assist with campaign setup, trafficking, and QA to ensure accuracy and timeliness of launches.

· Monitor daily pacing and delivery of campaigns; flag underperformance or discrepancies to senior team members.

· Pull and organize performance reports; assist in summarizing insights and optimizations based on KPIs such as ROAS, CTR, and impressions.

· Collaborate with media planners, investment teams, and creative stakeholders to support integrated campaign execution.

· Help manage product feeds, keyword lists, ad copy, and targeting parameters within platform tools (e.g., Amazon DSP, Walmart Sponsored Products).

· Coordinate with vendor partners on campaign updates, technical issues, and reporting needs.

· Represent Rise to vendor reps to analyze value and applicability of media vehicles/tactics for plan consideration as needed.

· Stay up-to-date on platform updates, ad formats, and emerging marketplace trends; share learnings with the broader team.

· Participate in team meetings, client calls, and internal training sessions to grow your knowledge and professional skills.

 

Job Requirements:

Education:

o Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.

o Ability to speak, read and write the English language

Experience: 

o 1+ years of experience in digital media, performance marketing, or eCommerce (agency or brand-side).

o Familiarity with retail media or marketplace platforms (Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Instacart) is a plus, but not required.

o Ability to convert and implement strategic plan directions into flawless tactical executions.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; able to manage multiple tasks and timelines effectively.

· Analytical thinker with interest in data-driven marketing and performance metrics.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel/Google Sheets and basic data analysis; knowledge of tools like Pacvue, Skai, is a bonus.

· Eager to learn, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.

· Superior oral and written communication skills; focus on fostering strong, collaborative relationships at a tactical level

· High comfort level participating in brainstorms and ideation sessions

· Ability to work with a team to think tactically and execute accurately in order to align media execution with client needs.

Travel: <5%

 

Employees can be expected to be paid an annualized salary range of $55,000- $60,000, based on variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions.
