Job Description

This is a full-time bargaining unit position. This position performs skilled work involving operating a water treatment facility and infrastructure, operating a wastewater treatment facility and infrastructure, sampling, water main breaks, and performs related duties as required. Must possess a valid Minnesota Class B drivers license (or ability to obtain within 6 months), two-year technical accredited college program in water and wastewater treatment or three years of related experience, Class D water operator certificate (or ability to obtain with 18 months), Class D waste water operator certificate (or ability to obtain within 18 months), and must be able to pass a BCA background check.

Current salary is $33.74 per hour, with probationary employees being paid $30.37.
