Masking Duties:

• Apply masking materials (tapes, plugs, caps, films, etc.) to parts prior to painting, anodizing, plating, or other surface treatments.
• Interpret work orders, masking diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine masking requirements.
• Inspect surfaces and clean parts to ensure proper adhesion of masking materials.
• Ensure masking complies with aerospace industry specifications and customer requirements.
• Remove masking materials post-processing while avoiding damage to finished surfaces.

General:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Document work performed and report any non-conformances or defects.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and shipping teams to ensure workflow efficiency.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in masking, packing, or manufacturing (aerospace experience preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Familiarity with aerospace materials, part handling, and surface finish sensitivity is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
