Job Title: Night Shift Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Telemetry

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Shift Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiac Telemetry. The ideal candidate will focus primarily on cardiac patients including those with Congestive Heart Failure, Acute Coronary Syndrome, and Arrhythmias. Additionally, a secondary emphasis will be placed on managing respiratory issues such as COPD and pneumonia. As an RN in this position, you will be expected to work every other weekend and holidays, including Thanksgiving Day or Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. Floating to other units may be required as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac patients, monitoring vital signs and responding to changes in patient conditions.
• Manage and administer medications, including titration of cardiac and insulin drips.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Complete thorough patient assessments and document care accurately in the Epic charting system.
• Assist in Pre/Post Cardiac Catheterization and Hemodialysis management.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in cardiac telemetry.
• Current Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Must possess Cardiac Telemetry experience with strong fundamental nursing skills.
• Must have a pass/fail EKG exam requirement completed during compliance.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

• Active RN licensure required.
• Education verification through a 3rd party; candidates must not come from diploma mills per the Florida Education Audit list.

Compliance Requirements:

• Candidates must have a full compliance file prepared by 12 Noon EST the Wednesday prior to the start date.
• No open cases on background checks; candidates must have their license in hand upon submission.
• Local radius for applicants is 50 miles; no local candidates accepted.
