Soliant Education is now seeking a full-time, certified Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school district near Cragsmoor, NY for the 20252026 academic year. This is an onsite position with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
Schedule: Monday Friday, 9:00 AM 4:00 PM
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Caseload: Approximately 10 students
Grade Level: Elementary
Pay Range: $37.66 $53.79 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
Provide direct instruction and support in accordance with students IEPs
Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and families
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
Participate in IEP meetings, team planning, and parent conferences
Support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
Valid New York State Certification in Childhood Education (Grades 16)
Certification in Students with Disabilities (SWD) 16
Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Must be able to work onsite full-time during scheduled hours
