**ABOUT THIS POSITION** Our client base is constantly growing and we're looking for great Software Engineers to make our team better. Our Software Engineers have an opportunity to work on our Clinical Documentation Integrity, Utilization Management, and Audit platforms. You'll be challenged often and will find yourself working on all areas of the application domain across the full app delivery stack. **WHAT YOU'LL DO** + While this is a hands-on role where coding is a large part of the job, equally important is the ability to lead a team to convert product vision to software design/implementation. Finally, this is an opportunity to work with a group of other passionate software professionals in an engineering-led culture to make healthcare better.Design and implement highly resilient, scalable, and performant solutions that solve complex healthcare problems using our advanced tech stackParticipate in technical and product discussions with leaders across our engineering, product, and business teamsSelf-reliance, without supervision, while showcasing best design/communication/solution practices in daily works and tasksEnsure continuously improve our standard of engineering excellence **WHAT YOU'LL NEED** + **What You'll Need** **Minimum Requirements:** + BS in Computer Science/related area or equivalent work experience + Strong experience with Node.js + 7+ years of experience building modern web applications + 3+ years current experience with modern web development and web UI + Strong proficiency in SQL, CI/CD and Automated Testing + Excellent written and verbal communication + Strong programming skills in at least two of Java, Typescript/Javascript, and Python languages + Experience working with frontend Javascript frameworks (VueJs, React, Angular) + **Preferred Requirements:** + PostgreSQL + Microservices and Distributed application architectures + Batch and Streaming Data processing using Kafka or similar data pipeline technologies + AI, Machine Learning and predictive algorithms + Docker/Kubernetes + Familiarity with Healthcare domain including HL7, Claims/Payments data models **ABOUT WAYSTAR** Through a smart platform and better experience, Waystar helps providers simplify healthcare payments and yield powerful results throughout the complete revenue cycle.
