A K-12 educational institution in Jenks, OK is seeking a skilled Counselor to provide comprehensive support to students across all grade levels throughout the upcoming school year. Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a school counselor, preferably in K-12 settings
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development
• Ability to design and implement effective counseling programs and activities

• Knowledge of crisis intervention strategies and resources
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school climate

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling services to students addressing academic, social, and personal challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success and well-being
• Develop and deliver prevention programs on topics such as bullying, substance abuse, and mental health awareness
• Assist with academic planning, college and career readiness, and goal setting
• Monitor and document student progress and maintain confidentiality
• Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development opportunities
