Job Description

We are seeking a Salesforce Administrator/Developer to support the customization and maintenance of Salesforce platforms. This role blends strong administrative expertise with hands-on development skills to enhance platform functionality, improve user experience, and support business processes across the organization. The ideal candidate can translate business requirements into scalable solutions, collaborate closely with end users, and ensure Salesforce is a stable, secure, and high-performing system. This is a remote role lasting 2-3 months.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain day-to-day Salesforce operations, including support for existing functionality, issue resolution, and security.
  • Oversee data quality, including imports, deduplication, cleansing, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Ensure platform health through proactive monitoring, patch/application installations, release management, and sandbox strategy.
  • Maintain documentation for system architecture, workflows, data models, and integrations.
  • Build and maintain application customizations and integrations in collaboration with the team.
  • Implement stable, well-architected, scalable solutions that support business needs and requirements.
  • Enhance and optimize existing platform functionality.
  • Develop integrations using APIs, middleware, or platform-native tools.
  • Ensure proper data structures to support downstream reporting and integration.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions—guiding users to articulate the problem , not a preconceived solution.
  • Work closely with business units to develop and maintain efficient and scalable workflows and data processes.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and internal IT teams as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2–5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator and/or Developer.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, objects, data model, and security model.
  • Hands-on experience with Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and API integrations.
  • Experience with version control (ie. BitBucketGit), CI/CD (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Salesforce DevOps), and sandbox deployment pipelines.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator required; Platform App Builder or Platform Developer I is strongly preferred.
  • Strong solutioning skills: able to understand business problems, challenge assumptions, and propose scalable designs.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to data accuracy and process efficiency.
  • Proactive ownership of platform reliability, documentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while supporting multiple teams.

NICE TO HAVE’S:

  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems (e.g., ERP, data warehouses, marketing tools).
  • Experience in healthcare, medical groups, or similar regulated environments is a plus.
