Volt is immediately hiring for Quality Inspector –in Palm Bay, FL 32905

What are the main functions of this role?

• Responsible for the identification and documentation of quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems.
• Facilitates the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of company products.
• Leads the preparation and execution of internal audits within established manufacturing and production controls to ensure compliance with internal and external specifications and standards.
• Liaises with auditing groups and inspectors to develop formal written reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Identifies trends in discrepancies and collaborates with process owners on the refinement and optimization of business processes.
• Oversees testing department activities and work of inspectors. Reviews, approves, and controls work order flow tags.
• Develops inspection techniques, tools, and supplemental inspection instructions in support of standards, methods, and procedures.
• Participates in supplier corrective and preventative actions, including customer escapes, process nonconformities, supplier corrective actions, customer and change control, and material review board meetings.

Ideal candidate must have:

• Must have knowledge of quality standards, inspection methods, and testing procedures.
• Experience in conducting internal audits and ensuring compliance with internal/external specifications.
• Must be able to interprets manufacturing drawings.
• Diagrams and specifications and list to approve or reject units, test setups, or systems for in process or final assemblies.
• Document inspections and deliver reports to their supervisors and items is returned to department for corrections or repaid.
• Must have MS Office experience.

This is a 12-month, Full- time- Contract to possible hire opportunity.

Preferred skills:

• Knowledge of MES system is helpful but not required.

Education Level Required:

• High School Diploma

Pay Ra nge: $25.00 - $ 30.00 per hour .
