Job Overview

We’re seeking an Entry-Level Public Relations Assistant to join our growing events and outreach team . This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about PR, event marketing, and social impact .

In this role, you’ll support the planning and execution of live campaigns that raise awareness and drive engagement for nonprofit organizations and mission-focused brands . Whether you’re launching your career in communications, community outreach, or nonprofit event planning , this position provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and coordination of local outreach events and pop-up brand activations
• Represent nonprofit clients at events, engaging with the public and communicating their mission
• Help with event setup , including branded signage, displays, and promotional materials
• Support the creation of clear, compelling public messaging and live event scripting
• Gather attendee feedback , track engagement data, and assist with campaign performance reporting
• Collaborate with the events and PR team to optimize outreach strategies and boost visibility

• Outgoing, friendly, and comfortable engaging face-to-face with diverse audiences
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a flair for storytelling
• Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
• Willing to work flexible hours , including occasional weekends or evenings
• Passion for community-building , cause marketing , or nonprofit work
• Previous experience in customer service, event support, or promotions is a plus (but not required)
