What You'll Do as a Project Design Consultant:

  • Meet with clients to guide them through the product design and selection process.
  • Build relationships while gathering the information needed for portfolios, estimates, and drawings.
  • Conduct site evaluations to take measurements and document project details.
  • Draft project estimates that align with scope & budget.
  • Create product portfolios to illustrate design options & selections.
  • Develop conceptual drawings and assemble complete plan sets.
  • Prepare & write contracts that capture all project details.
  • Collaborate with teammates to ensure designs are accurate and ready for execution.
  • Work full-time, Monday-Friday, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Travel 1-2 times per week within a 90-minute radius using a company vehicle

Our Ideal Project Design Consultant:

  • Experienced: 2+ years of design software experience is required, with a Chief Architect preferred. A background in construction or interior design is preferred.
  • Creative & Precise: Brings fresh ideas to client projects while maintaining strong attention to detail in drawings, contracts, and estimates.
  • Self-Motivated & Independent: Works well on their own while keeping projects moving forward.
  • Deadline-driven: Manages multiple details and consistently meets timelines.
  • Tech-savvy: Proficient in Chief Architect, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Active: Able to lift 10+ lbs. and climb stairs or ladders when visiting job sites.

  • $65,000 - $75,000 salary, based on experience
