Product Des ign Associate
Ideal Background
Contract or permanent designers with ~2–5 years of experience, ideally in retail or ecommerce brands.
Key Responsibilities
Audit and assess existing contentcentric UI components and patterns for consistency, accessibility, and system alignment.
Restructure and recreate these components within the advanced retail design system framework.
Apply atomic design methodology: define and manage tokens, atoms, molecules, and organisms with semantic variables.
Elevate aesthetics: produce polished UI deliverables in Figma, aesthetic storytelling, and high fidelity prototypes.
Collaborate with content teams and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) content fragments or similar platforms.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong track record (~2–5 years) in design system execution, especially in retail/ecommerce contexts.
Mastery of Figma: component libraries, variants, prototyping, design tokens and semantic variables.
Deep understanding of atomic design systems and scalable UI architecture.
Excellent visual design skills: typography, layout, grid, color, illustration integration.
Experience working with content systems (AEM, content fragments, Contentful, etc.) is a big plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Portfolio demonstrating system-based redesigns, component libraries, or content module work.
Experience translating content strategy into UI components.
Familiarity with accessibility, semantic markup, responsive and tokenized UI.
As a Product Designer I, you work closely with other product designers, product managers and software engineers
to deliver product experiences rooted in human-centered principles that support strategic priorities. You are an
active participant in the organization and delivery of high-quality products enabled through a lean product
development process including:
Team Forming

This is where everything comes together as your team commits to delivering an end-to-end experience.
Product designers leverage Homefield, our in-house design system, to communicate and pair with software
engineers throughout the development process.
Feedback
You relentlessly seek feedback from users through various channels, while understanding how to aggregate
and activate this feedback in meaningful ways within your team.

The Product Designer I supports one product team with a focus on learning and growing foundational-to intermediate skills within product design. Under the supervision and guidance of a more senior product designer,
the Product Designer I is responsible for:

Execution – How you support and provide oversight to the design and delivery of solutions to our customers

•Conducting research discovery to define problems
•Applying mixed methods research practices
•Utilizing visual design principles applied to UI design
•Demonstrating a customer-centric view into developing great product experiences and the ability to
advocate on a customer's behalf
•Gathering feedback to inform behavioral trends
•Monitoring metrics to understand usage trends
Candidates for this role should have:
•Foundational understanding of Product Design
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to collaborate with various peer groups (engineering, product management, etc.)
•Ability to balance customer needs & business objectives
•Strong deductive reasoning skills
•Curious attitude and desire to learn
