LHH is seeking a payroll professional for a long-term contract opportunity.
This position is hybrid , offering a mix of remote and on-site work in Richmond, VA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute biweekly and semimonthly payroll cycles with precision and timeliness.

  • Perform routine audits —daily and weekly—to verify payroll accuracy and apply necessary updates.

  • Manage and update payroll records, including employee onboarding, terminations, deductions, and benefits .

  • Ensure payroll operations comply with federal, state, and local tax regulations .

  • Generate and distribute pay stubs, W-2 forms, and other payroll-related reports .

  • Address employee inquiries regarding compensation, deductions, and payroll procedures .

  • Reconcile payroll data and contribute to month-end and year-end financial reporting .

  • Partner with HR and cross-functional teams to maintain consistency across systems and workflows.

  • Assist with internal audits and compliance reviews as required.

Pay Details: $29.00 to $34.00 per hour
