Job Title: Payroll Clerk (Hybrid)
Location: Seattle, WA
Pay Rate: $25 – $28/hour DOE
Contract Length: 8 Months

Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team on an 8-month contract . This hybrid role in Seattle, WA will be responsible for assisting with payroll processing, maintaining accurate employee records, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, review, and input employee timesheets and payroll data

• Process weekly/biweekly payroll in an accurate and timely manner

• Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes

• Verify accuracy of deductions, garnishments, and benefits contributions

• Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, taxes, and deductions

• Prepare payroll reports for management and accounting teams

• Assist with compliance reporting and audits as required

• Support the HR and accounting teams with related administrative tasks

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in payroll processing, accounting, or related field

• Knowledge of payroll regulations and basic employment tax practices

• Experience with payroll systems (ADP, Paycom, Paylocity, or similar) preferred

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general office software

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Schedule & Compensation:

• Hybrid: Combination of onsite and remote work (details provided by employer)

• Contract Length: 8 months

• Compensation: $25 – $28 per hour, DOE
