We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our database systems, ensuring their performance, security, and availability. This role requires a strong understanding of database design and administration, as well as proficiency in various database technologies. The Database Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting our data-driven initiatives and ensuring the integrity of our data assets.

*Responsibilities*
* Administer and maintain database systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
* Design and implement database structures that meet business requirements.
* Develop and execute ETL processes to facilitate data integration.
* Write and optimize SQL queries, including PL/SQL for efficient data retrieval.
* Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
* Implement backup and recovery strategies to protect data integrity.
* Collaborate with development teams to support application needs related to databases.
* Utilize Shell Scripting for automation of routine tasks within the database environment.
* Conduct regular security audits to ensure compliance with best practices.
* Document database configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference.

*Experience*
* Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of MySQL and experience with high availability configurations.
* Familiarity with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for data migration tasks is preferred.
* Experience working in a Linux environment is advantageous.
* Proficient in database design principles and best practices.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
