Key Responsibilities: Provide expert guidance and support for Oracle APEX feature implementations, with strong focus on connecting backend database functionality to frontend user experiences. Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions, ensuring alignment between functional intent and technical implementation. Design, develop, and maintain complex APEX applications that effectively track data, processes, and interfaces. Create and optimize database schemas, stored procedures, and functions with a deep understanding of how they support business workflows and user interactions. Contribute to the design and maintenance of database schemas, stored procedures, and functions, ensuring the overall health and performance of data sources. Troubleshoot complex issues by tracing problems through the entire application stack from UI to database layer. Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders while gathering and interpreting business requirements for technical implementation. Actively bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions throughout the development lifecycle. Actively participate in team meetings, Agile ceremonies, and project coordination activities. Required Qualifications: Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Minimum of 3 years of experience using Oracle APEX, particularly versions 19.x-24.x, and Oracle Database versions 11g-21c. At least 4 years of experience in Oracle programming and software development within Agile or SDLC processes. Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, including procedures, functions, packages, cursors, triggers, collections, and performance tuning. Experience with key technologies including JavaScript, JSON, Web Services, XML, HTML, and UI/UX design. Strong skills in APEX analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of forms, interactive reports, grids, dashboards, and report generation. Familiarity with APEX security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms. Desired Skills and Experience: Experience working directly with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical solutions. Strong analytical thinking with the ability to conceptualize business processes as technical workflows. Experience with Financial Management or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and understanding their functional requirements. Ability to read and understand existing codebases and explain the business logic they implement. Experience creating effective documentation that bridges functional and technical aspects of applications. Proven track record of implementing business-critical features that directly address client needs. Compensation $80,000 - $120,000 (based on the National Capital Region) The pay range for this job level at Savantage Solutions serves as a general guideline and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
