Mercys Family Birth Center provides a supportive and comfortable environment for mothers and their families during labor, delivery, and postpartum care. The center offers spacious private rooms with family- friendly amenities and advanced technology to ensure newborns stay close to their mothers while being monitored. Skilled nurses, lactation consultants, and an on-site anesthesia provider work together to educate and empower new mothers, ensuring a smooth transition into parenthood. If both mother and baby are healthy, they can typically go home within one to two days after a natural birth. For babies needing advanced care, the Level II NICU, operated by Valley Childrens Hospital, provides specialized treatment close to home. Mercy Medical Center currently sees 2,352 annual deliveries and 1,854 triage visits.
