Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced mortgage loan professional to join our team. In this hybrid role, you will evaluate and process loan applications for our VA client base. Your responsibilities will include interviewing applicants to gather financial information, evaluating creditworthiness, and discussing loan terms. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and customer service skills and a deep understanding of the VA loan process.

Responsibilities

• Taking live calls with new VA applicants
• Utilizing Salesforce to Manage Opportunities for New Business
• Interview applicants to gather financial information
• Evaluate creditworthiness
• Process loan applications
• Submit files to undewriting
• Clearing Approval Conditions
• Prepare transactions for closing dept
• Assist clients in understanding the terms and conditions of their contracts
• Providing rate quotes to prospective customers
• Keep detailed records for all accounts

Qualifications

• Military Service
• Previous experience as a Loan Processor is preferred
• Familiarity with standard mortgage LOS - Calyx, Encompass, LendingQB, etc
• Must have strong email organization and excellent writing skills
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Strong grasp of everything VA loan related - WebLGY, Lender Handbook, AUS, etc
