Job Description:

We are seeking a Medical Device Hardware Engineer to join our R&D team in Minnesota. This role focuses on designing, developing, and validating electronic hardware for medical devices, ensuring safety, performance, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop analog/digital circuits for medical devices.
• Create PCB schematics, layouts, and support prototype builds.
• Conduct electrical testing, troubleshooting, and verification.
• Ensure compliance with IEC 60601 and relevant medical device safety standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, quality).
• Maintain design documentation in accordance with ISO 13485 and FDA design controls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Biomedical, or Electronics Engineering.
• Medical device experience required — do not apply without it.
• Experience with circuit design and PCB layout.
• Knowledge of EMC/EMI compliance and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 and FDA design controls is a plus.
