Legal Assistant (Vietnamese Speaking)

Our mission is to provide compassionate, personalized legal services to our diverse client base. We are currently seeking a bilingual Legal Assistant fluent in Vietnamese and English to join our dedicated team.

Job Summary

As a Legal Assistant, you will support our attorneys by handling administrative tasks, communicating with clients, managing case files, and assisting in the preparation of legal documents. Fluency in Vietnamese is required, as many of our clients are Vietnamese-speaking and rely on us for clear, effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients in both Vietnamese and English
• Translate documents and interpret conversations as needed
• Prepare and file legal documents, including petitions, affidavits, and motions
• Maintain organized case files and manage deadlines
• Schedule appointments, court dates, and meetings
• Conduct legal research and gather documentation for cases
• Provide general administrative support to attorneys and paralegals

Qualifications

• Fluency in Vietnamese and English (spoken and written) is required
• Previous experience as a legal assistant or in a law office is preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
