Industrial (Automotive) Painter | Pay Range: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour (DOE) | High Point, NC Area

Both shifts open today 1st & 2nd shift

About the Role

Looking for a great opportunity in the New Year? Join our client’s stable and growing team in the Triad Area as an Industrial Painter (Automobile Painter). In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and applying paint and coatings to automotive parts and products, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet both company and customer standards.

Responsibilities

• Hold or position spray guns to direct spray onto articles
• Fill hoppers, reservoirs, troughs, or pans with material used to coat, paint, or spray
• Start and stop operation of spray machines using levers or buttons
• Determine paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality through visual inspection or by using viscometers
• Attach hoses or nozzles to machines using tools and make necessary adjustments to achieve proper dispersion of spray
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Adhere to all company safety procedures and quality standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience as an industrial or automotive painter preferred
• Knowledge of paint mixing, spraying techniques, and finish quality standards
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to inspect work for defects
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and noise levels
• Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills
