Responsibilities: Develop GIS applications in a web or desktop environment. Applications may manipulate, analyze or display geographic information. Identify and understand user requirements and work with users to ensure that applications successfully meet user needs. Design, test, and debug computer programs, applications, or software packages. Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required. Train users on applications, develop documentation, and install applications in user environments. Integration and management of geographic data and design of geographic databases may be required to build and operationalize applications.
