Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in driving financial insights and strategic decision-making across the organization. This role is responsible for building and maintaining complex financial models, analyzing project-based financial data, forecasting trends, preparing reporting and supporting investment decisions. The ideal candidate will bring experience from investment banking, consulting, or private equity—or from operating within private equity-backed companies in an FP&A, strategic decision making, development proforma capacity or and demonstrate exceptional analytical rigor, modeling capabilities, and business acumen.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Financial Modeling & Analysis
  • Build and maintain detailed levered and unlevered financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning for both company platform and at the project level.
  • Analyze business economics, including IRR, ROI, MOIC and payback periods, to guide investment decisions.
  • Develop scenario analyses and sensitivity models to evaluate risks and opportunities.

Strategic Finance & Investment Support
  • Partner with executive leadership to evaluate M&A opportunities, capital stack allocation strategies, and growth initiatives.
  • Support due diligence efforts for acquisitions and strategic partnerships.
  • Experience with financial institution debt and equity negotiations.
  • Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Reporting & Performance Tracking
  • Design and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track financial KPIs and operational metrics.
  • Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting.
  • Experience with conducting business unit evaluations and performing scalability and resource allocation reviews.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with business unit leaders to understand financial drivers and align forecasts with operational plans.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on financial analysis.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in financial systems and processes.
QUALIFICATIONS

The education, experience, and other skills listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

EDUCATION
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics required; MBA,or CFA highly desirable

WORK EXPERIENCE
  • 3-5+ years relevant experience from investment banking, consulting, or private equity—or from operating within private equity-backed companies
KEY SKILLS SET
  • 3+ years of experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, financial planning & analysis and or commercial RE development analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and master level skills using Excel.
  • Experience with project financing, including modeling for infrastructure or capital-intensive initiatives.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field required; MBA or CFA preferred.
EQUIPMENT AND APPLICATIONS
  • Master level skills in Excel with ability to demonstrate understanding of complex modeling concepts
  • High proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint; and
  • Working knowledge of all standard office equipment.
