The Facilities Coordinator I is encouraged to be highly organized, detailed, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

A day in the Life:

• Provide administrative support to the site, including purchasing, scheduling contractors, and organizing bids.
• Coordinate maintenance activities, including scheduling repairs, ordering supplies, and maintaining maintenance logs.
• Prepare and distribute reports, presentations, and correspondence as needed.
• Assist with the preparation and organization of meetings.
• Handle office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
• Arrange logistics for inbound and outbound goods.
• Assist with the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing orientation materials and coordinating training sessions.
• Respond to inquiries from internal and external partners professionally and efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support site-wide initiatives and projects.
• Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office equipment.
• Network with various industry professionals and manage vendors, suppliers, or contractors.

Keys to Success:

Education

• Two-year college degree or high school diploma or equivalent experience with at least two years of administrative assistant experience.

Experience

• Experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Proven experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and follow through on commitments.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of professionalism and integrity.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

• Agricultural and Livestock Environment.
• Office environment, does not require working directly with animals.
