Business Litigation Attorney (Contract, 10–15 Years’ Experience)
Remote (California) | Los Angeles-Based Firm
Direct Counsel is seeking an experienced Business Litigation Attorney to assist a Los Angeles-based law firm on a contract basis. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to support an established litigation team on a variety of complex business and commercial matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support on active business litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy.
Assist with depositions, hearings, and trial preparation as needed.
Collaborate with supervising attorneys and firm clients to ensure timely, high-quality work product.
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Active California Bar membership required.
10–15 years of litigation experience , ideally in business or commercial disputes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
