Cardiology - Physician Opportunity at Our Organization's Emergency Care Facility
We are looking for a Board Certified or eligible General Cardiologist to become part of our growing cardiology team at our facility in San Antonio. This position entails delivering both inpatient and outpatient cardiac care, with the support of nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Services offered include echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and catheterization labs. Our organization is seeking a General Cardiologist to join our expanding team in San Antonio. The cardiology department at our facility in Westover Hills is the sole comprehensive cardiology group catering to the rapidly growing Westover Hills area, one of the city's fastest-developing regions. Our hospital is currently undergoing a $300M expansion, enhancing its status as a leading destination for advanced cardiac care.
Position Highlights:
General cardiology practice in both inpatient and outpatient environments
Positioned at our facility in Santa Rosa – Westover Hills
Monday to Friday work schedule (with half-day Fridays dedicated to administrative tasks)
Supported by 2 Nurse Practitioners and 1 Physician Assistant (with plans to expand to 5 Advanced Practice Providers); APPs will assist with patient rounding
Strong referral network from daily NP consultations and hospital patient volume
Available services include echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, ABI (in development), and 3 catheterization labs
Qualifications:
Board certified or eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
Open to current fellows
Possession of a Texas medical license or eligibility for one
Certification in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology is preferred
