Job Description

As Marymount values innovation and inter-disciplinary thinking, candidates should be open to exploring applications of art history across disciplines and eager to collaborate with teachers both within and beyond the Humanities department. Upper School teachers also serve as academic advisors to approximately eight students and moderate at least one student club or activity. 

We seek candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in art history, art education or related field
  • Experience teaching high school or college-level art history
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Commitment to DEIB and practices that support belonging
  • Ability to vary instructional methods
