Dog Bather Extraordinaire ! At Healthy Spot, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, comprehensive bathing services that leave our furry clients feeling fabulous from snout to tail!
What You'll Do: - Transform Dirty Dogs into Dazzling Divas : Bathe, dry, clip nails, express anal glands, clean ears, and detangle fur to perfection.
- Be a Canine Connoisseur : Conduct thorough needs assessments, evaluating each dog's eyes, ears, nails, teeth, coat, and skin, and recommend additional pampering services or products.
- Communication Wizardry : Communicate service fees and convey the value of our add-ons, ensuring pet parents are well-informed.
- Prioritize & Organize : Manage your furry clients according to their needs, ensuring those with extra grooming appointments get the VIP treatment.
- Spotless Sanctuary Keeper : Maintain a pristine bathing area by sanitizing and vacuuming, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all.
- Greet & Treat : Welcome each dog and their human by name, providing an estimated pick-up time and showcasing our GOT HEART customer service philosophy.
- Detail Dynamo : Ensure all kennel cards are meticulously filled out with any special notes, health concerns, or specific customer requests.
- Hydration Hero : Keep our canine clients well-hydrated and ensure they're walked regularly, monitoring for any signs of stress.
- Safety Champion : Respond to personnel or dog injuries promptly, ensuring a safe salon experience for everyone.

- You're a people person, ready to engage with pet parents and share your knowledge.
- Detail-oriented, you never miss a beat, whether it's health concerns or specific service requests.

- Previous experience in pet care or grooming is a plus but not required.

The pay rate as an Apprentice starts at $19.00/hr, with pay raises (and tips) at each new program level.
