Job Description
Lean Systems Consulting is seeking a 3D CAD Inventor or Solidworks Tech ($50/hr), a Junior Engineering Consultant ($50/hr), and a Senior Engineering Consultant ($100/hr) that will support client engagement opportunities in Sheridan, AK. All travel cost (i.e. hotel, meals and mileage) will be reimbursed.
The required skillset for the 3D CAD Inventor / Solidworks Tech
1. Fluent in 3D parametric modeling
2. Must be organized, methodical and capable of estimate timing on projects
3. Machine and Tool design desirable
4. Must maintain own license in either Inventor or Solidworks with Laptop to work onsite
5. Can provide a cast study / PowerPoint slide deck example on:
a. Assembly Stack-up analysis (Overlaying current or proposed change points)
The required skillset for the Junior Engineering Consultant :
1. Five to Ten years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
2. Analytical / data analysis skills in excel (i.e. spc analysis, pivot tables, charting, conditional formatting, pareto analysis, etc...)
3. Can provide a case study / PowerPoint slide deck example on:
a. Standard Work example
b. Setup reduction example
The required skillset for the Senior Engineering Consultant :
1. Ten to Fifteen years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
2. All the skills of the junior consultant role, plus:
3. Can provide a case study / PowerPoint slide deck example on:
a. Production flow analysis / Production leveling example
b. Strategy / MS Project / Gantt Chart planning example
To be considered for either role, the candidate must provide and email to [email protected] the following:
1. A resume (no more than 2 pages)
2. PowerPoint slide deck examples of requested material (no more than 4 pages)
If hired, the consultant must be able to:
1. Work up to 10-hrs a day
2. Provide their own laptop with MS Office software
3. Sign the Independent Contactor Agreement.
4. Meet dress code and PPE (i.e. steel toes) requirements
